To apply, go online to UAB Student Housing's website to complee the application and contract. www.uab.edu/housing. Please be prepared to pay the $25 application fee and $250 prepayment.

Log in with your BlazerID to complete the online application for UAB student housing. The MyHousing system works best with Internet Explorer or Firefox--other browsers may not be supported. You must disable pop-up blocker to use MyHousing. To complete your application, you'll need your BlazerID and a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover) to pay the application fee. Students who may require special accommodations should contact the business officer/assignment coordinator for Student Housing and Residential Life at 205.934.2092 prior to any hall assignment and register with UAB Disability Support Services at 205.934.4205.
[+]AVAILABILITY & ROOMMATES
Rooms are first-come/first serve and are prioritized by the date Student Housing receives your online application and $25 application fee and $250 prepayment fees. It is not the responsibility of Student Housing to ensure that your payments go through, so be certain all payments are processed through personal accounts.
Roommate requests will be honored while space is available, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to place you with your preferred roommate.

- Individual 9-month leases, non-renewable, totals $5,200.

[+]GENERAL INFO
Blazer Hall capacity is 753 residents.
Most suites are 2 Bedroom/2 Bath(double-occupancy bedrooms). Some suites are 3BR/3 BA with a small “living room” area. Cost is the same for both.
Kitchenettes in all suites includes cabinets, granite counter top, sink, and a full-size refrigerator.
Rent includes: internet access, wifi, basic cable TV with HEAT movie channel, and all utilities.
Security Features: 29 trained RAs, full-time resident life coordinator on site, on call maintenance staff, video cameras throughout the building and surroundings, electronic locks, 24-hour staffing at front desk, limited points of entry.
